About Our MOPS Group

All mothers with children ages infant through kindergarten are invited to join.  CFC MOPS meets on alternating Fridays from 9:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 21673 Beaumeade Circle, Ashburn, Virginia. Our MOPS group runs from September to May.

What happens at a MOPS Meeting?

Our morning begins with breakfast and time to chat. That's followed by a speaker on various topics relevant to moms in our stage of mothering. Most meetings we will complete a small craft and spend time discussing our speaker's topic with the women at your table. You will leave feeling refreshed and encouraged, more empowered to be a mom.

Is Childcare Provided?

YES! We have a children's program: MOPS Kids.

MOPS Kids is for children ages infant to kindergarten and includes crafts, music time, and a snack!

How Do I Join?

Please download the registration form and mail it along with your payment to the address located on the bottom of the form. Registration for the 2018-2019 MOPS year opens June 1st. Visit our Registration Page for more information.

Unfortunately, CFC MOPS does not allow drop-ins to meetings unless the mom comes without her children and she has advance permission from the Registration Coordinator. This is because our MOPS Kids program is usually filled to maximum capacity, and we cannot add in drop-in children because we cannot exceed the designated teacher to child ratios in the MOPS Kids classrooms.

MOPS groups are local communities that help moms be better moms by understanding their unique needs, challenges and joys - in this vital season of early mothering.

Every mom is welcomed, accepted and inspired to reach her potential and recognize her influence within her family and her world. MOPS believes that better moms really do make a better world.

Although mothering preschoolers is at times a lonely challenge, MOPS is providing a welcome break for moms; a chance for moms to make new friends and an opportunity for moms to know they are not alone in the struggles and joys of raising young children.
