CFC MOPS CONSIGNMENT SALE CONSIGNOR AGREEMENT

Please read and acknowledge your acceptance of the following Terms of Agreement. When you register to consign, you will be asked to confirm that you have carefully read all of the guidelines and procedures explained in Consignor Instructions, and agree to the terms stated below:

  1. Consignors who complete a full volunteer shift will retain 70% of the sale price of all their items. A full volunteer shift consists of at least 3 hours of volunteer work. Consignors who do not volunteer (or who do not complete their shift) will receive 50% of the sale price of all their items.

  2. Consignor agrees that a $5 administration fee and an optional postage fee will be deducted from each consignor check after the percentages are calculated.

  3. Consignor understands that it is their responsibility to complete each item's tag properly. Consignors with tags that do not adhere to the guidelines will be assessed a Tag Processing Fee (described below).

  4. Consignor understands and agrees to the Tag Processing Fee for incorrect tags. It will be assessed should your tags not adhere to our Tag Guidelines (for the tags themselves as well as how they are attached to items.) Tag Processing Fee: For consignors that have tags that do not follow our guidelines, a minimum fine of $3.00 for up to the first 50 items sold will be deducted from the consignor payment. Should you sell more than 50 items; a fee of $0.03 for each additional tag will be deducted from your final payment. For example, if you sell a total of 150 items, you will be assessed the minimum fee of $3.00 plus $3.00 (100 X $0.03 for each tag above 50). Your total Tag Processing fee would be $6.00. This fee of $0.03 per tag will be multiplied by the total number of tags above 50 - NOT by the individual tags that are incorrect.

  5. Consignor agrees to not bring any items that have been recalled. It is the consignor's responsibility to check the Consumer Protection Agency's website to ensure that there are no recalls on any item the consignor brings to the sale.

  6. Consignor must hang and/or put out all their items during Drop-Off. Drop-off for items will be at the designated sale site on the Friday prior to the sale from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. only. You must be finished dropping off your items by 7:59 p.m. - please plan your time to arrive at Drop-Off accordingly. No items will be accepted outside of this time.

  7. Consignor agrees that although MOPS volunteers will do their best to ensure that items are not damaged, lost, or stolen during set-up and sale, neither MOPS nor Christian Fellowship Church will assume liability for the consignor’s items.

  8. After the sale closes on Saturday at 1:00 pm, pick-up for unsold items will be in the afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is the consignor's responsibility to collect all unsold items. Unsold items that are being picked up will be reviewed upon exiting the building. All unsold merchandise that is not picked up by 3:00 p.m. will be offered in the Dollar Dash and then donated to charity.
